My son had a spontaneous brain injury in August last year. What a horrible year it was. He is still recovering and going through physio. The silver lining was his private Physiotherapist, Nila, who has been excellent. My boy had right sided weakness. When I met Nila, his right hand was hardly mobile. 2 days into his sessions, my boy started moving his affected arm and He has continued to improve. Nila communicates well with my son and my son has become fond of her. I cannot recommend Nila enough. She is so amazing and dedicated to her work. Also she doesn't watch the clock like most people do. Nila loves her job, that is what's outstanding with her.

Mr and Mrs Unka
We were referred to Nila by a local physio who had highly recommended her. Having checked her background we were lucky to have found someone of her expertise in Leicestershire to help our son who not only has CP but also Noonan syndrome which affects his motor skills. With Nila's reassurance and knowledge we chose for her to treat our son and can honestly say that after couple of months of starting physio with Nila we started to see the benefits. From just about being able to roll to the sides at 2.5yrs old he has started crawling reciprocally on hands and knees, achieve and maintain various sitting, kneeling positions and walk with a walker at 3yrs age. He is beaming with confidence. With the progression we have seen, we now feel optimistic more than ever that he will at some point in the future be able to take his first independent steps. We would definitely recommend Nila to anyone who needs a dedicated expert in paediatric physio.

Our son Reuben was diagnosed with CP at about 18months age.

We first saw Nila (for one visit) a few years ago for confirmation of diagnosis at her Harley street Clinic after being referred by a Paediatrician at Great Ormond Street hospital, London.

Since last one year, We have started seeing Nila regularly at her Leicestershire clinic. Reuben is very mobile but suffers from stiffness and tightness which effects his balance and mobility. Reuben enjoys coming to see Nila and we have seen a marked improvement following commencing weekly sessions with Nila. Improvement has been confirmed by Reubens recent annual NHS Physio review/assessment which has demonstrated significant gains in all domains including Joint ranges and Gross Motor Functional scores.

We have also gained a better understanding from Nila of what helps and how to incorporate physiotherapy techniques both at school and at home throughout the day.

Nila is very kind and sensitive but also strict enough to make sure that Reuben gets the most out of his sessions.

Nila is a highly skilled and experienced Childrens Neuro Physiotherapist and we have no hesitation in recommending her.
